Field visits and award ceremonies continue to take a vital role in Collingham's year.

Art and Art History groups regularly visit galleries, keeping up to date with current exhibitions. Politics groups visit the Houses of Parliament and Law groups the Law Courts. Media Studies students are taken to television recording studios, English and Theatre Studies groups visit the theatre. Modern Languages students benefit  from the nearby French Institute and Goethe Institute.

Outside London, our Geography and Biology students go on field trips, for example to Epping Forest and the Isle of Wight. The Art History and Modern Languages departments also regularly organise study trips abroad, for example to Paris, Amsterdam and Florence.

Many departments organise cinema and theatre visits. At the end of the academic year, Activities Week provides a range of opportunities for students to take part in enjoyable learning activities such as a charity walk, the production of a magazine, Art and Drama Workshops and work experience.

There is also a regular Wednesday evening football game played on Astro-turf which is open to all students.
