With two thirds of schools now extending their GCSE curriculum into Year 9, Collingham College, London's long established GCSE expert, set up a Year 9 programme in 2021. The college is now recruiting students for Year 9 entry for the academic year 2024-25.
Visitors to Collingham often comment on the mixture of friendliness and ambition which meets them. We hope that this is an accurate reflection of what we are about. We aim to gain the best possible results for our students, with a real sense of focus and purpose, in an atmosphere which is caring and positive.
Collingham will provide an excellent and bespoke Year 9 programme. Students will be taught in small classes of up to nine and average class sizes will mirror those in Years 10 and 11 which is usually around 5 students. This allows for a discursive style of tuition with plenty of student interaction and engagement. Classes are taught at the Young St campus located just off High Street Kensington. The elegant Georgian building houses Years 9 to 11 only, with the Year 11 students progressing on to the A level college at 23 Collingham Gardens.
The individualised and tailored nature of the Year 9 programme is also able to accommodate students who wish to study a limited range of subjects or those who are looking to complement their studies in other educational settings.
We look forward to welcoming you to Collingham to discuss your academic ambitions.
