Collingham’s joint founders were Nicholas Browne BA Clifton College and Jesus College, Cambridge and the late Dr. John Marsden. Nicholas Browne was formerly a councillor for Hammersmith & Fulham (1978 – 1986). For the last 15 years, he has been Chairman of Trustees for the Brunswick Club for Young People. Dr Marsden was educated at the Sorbonne and Bonn university, he was a former House Master at Eton College. For his service in the Second World War, he was mentioned in despatches and awarded the French Croix de Guerre and the American Bronze Star.
