… pupils live up to the school’s aim of creating a secure, happy and active learning environment so that they leave Collingham as young adults, confident in their ability to deal with the challenges of the future. (ISI 2023)

Pupils are confident communicators and feel comfortable discussing their ideas in their small classes, where they feel there is less pressure upon them.

Pupils’ study skills are excellent.  They ask tenacious questions and make reasoned judgements, motivated to achieve their best, as part of their examination preparation.

Pupils from the GCSE department expressed the view that from the moment they arrive at the school, they grow in self-esteem and self-confidence, developing a real desire to achieve the very best of which they are capable.
