International Admissions

A British Education with a Global Outlook

Collingham has a long history of welcoming students from around the world. Whether you’re joining us for GCSEs, A levels, or a bespoke course, we offer an academically rigorous, highly personalised education in the heart of London.

We understand that relocating for study is a big step. Our international admissions process is flexible, supportive, and tailored—designed to make your transition to Collingham smooth and successful.

Year-Round Applications Welcome

We operate a rolling admissions process, meaning you can apply to join Collingham at any point in the academic year, depending on course availability. We welcome both long-term international students and those looking for short-term academic support or university preparation.

Step 2: Interview via Video Call

If you’re applying from overseas, we’ll arrange a video interview with the Principal or a Vice Principal. This conversation is an opportunity to discuss your academic background, goals, and how we can best support you. It also gives you a chance to ask questions and get a feel for our approach.

We may also ask to see recent school reports and, where appropriate, predicted grades or samples of work.

Step 3: Offer & Visa Support

Once your interview is complete and we have reviewed your documentation, we will confirm if we are able to make an offer. Our team can then support you with any necessary documentation for visa applications, including Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) where required.

Step 4: Arrival & Induction

Before you arrive in the UK, we’ll ensure you have all the information you need—including your personalised timetable, subject choices, and introductions to key staff. On arrival, students are given a thorough induction and ongoing support to help them settle in quickly.

English Language Support

For students whose first language is not English, our experienced English as a Foreign Language (EFL) tutors offer tailored support. This includes preparation for IELTS and other English qualifications required for university entrance. We also help students develop their academic English and study skills across all subjects.

Accommodation & Guardianship

While Collingham is a day school and does not offer boarding, we work closely with trusted guardianship and accommodation providers to support international students living in London. We’re happy to offer guidance and make recommendations based on individual needs.

Ongoing Support

International students at Collingham are fully integrated into college life and receive the same level of personal attention and academic support as local students. Each student has a personal tutor, regular progress reviews, and access to any additional academic or wellbeing support they may need.

Join a Diverse, Welcoming Community

Our students come from across the globe to be part of the Collingham community. Whether your goal is to gain entry to a UK university, strengthen your academic English, or experience a British education in a small, focused setting—we’re here to support your journey.
