- Christos Yr10 (one painting, triptych)
- Aya Yr 9 (one painting & one drawing)
Sahiba has been awarded 2nd Prize for her Self-Portrait, Drawing; Alina awarded 3rd Prize for her Landscape Painting, and Aya awarded Highly Commended for her Figure Painting !
This year there were over 5,500 entries for ‘Young Art’, out of which 620 works were selected.
After many years of the Exhibition being held at The Royal College of Art, (Kensington Site), for the first time it is being held at Christie’s, St James’s, and partnered with The Royal Drawing School; The Royal College of Art and The Victoria and Albert Museum.
The proceeds from the auction, the entry fees, the catalogues, merchandise & donations, over the many years of the shows, have now raised over 1.3 million for ‘Children’s Cancer Research’ at UCL’s Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health.
It is a great example of the worlds of Art & Science coming together, to foster the values of Observation, Measurement, Creativity, Spirit and Imagination!
