The Year 12 and 13 Geography students visited the Kings Cross redevelopment site as part of their research for the A level NEA. The site which runs northrwards from Kings Cross Station has undergone significant regeneration, transforming a once run down and derelict part of London into a new go to destination. With key players like Google, Facebook and Central St Martins locating there, Kings Cross highlights how an old industrial site can be developed in a sustainable and sympathetic way. The students were impressed by the design and architecture of the redevelopment and enlightened by the fact that life does exist outside of South West London.
