After several months of preparation, Collingham's new GCSE department building has been refurbished. The building is located just off Kensington High Street on Young Street and is only minutes' walk from the tube station. A characterful Georgian building, it is the former home of William Thackeray and where he wrote Vanity Fair. Now, it offers a well equipped study room, art studio, 12 classrooms, and a large student common room with a ping pong table!
We are very much looking forward to seeing our GCSE students enjoy and make the most of this new enviroment and hope that the legacy of Thackeray and Vanity Fair will inspire and motivate our students in their own creative endeavours.
