The annual Collingham ski trip returned to the Mondole ski area of the Italian Alps and the resort of Prato Nevoso. The party of 15 students covered the entire ability range from an absolute beginner to a qualified instructor. Yet again the slopes where empty and there were no queues enabling the student to maximise their time on the slopes. The weather was unfailing sunny giving the resort almost Easter like conditions in late January. Indeed it was so unseasonably warm that many students deciding to ski without jackets in the afternoon sessions. At the end of the week the award for most improved student went to Zack. One of our instructors also passed on final comment to the twins - Girare è sempre una buona idea - “Turning is always a good idea.”
