Congratulations to James Woolsey who has just got his Blue playing for Cambridge against Oxford in the 126th University Golf Match at Royal Liverpool, Hoylake. James, who got A*A*A A at Collingham in 2010, is doing a Masters in Development Economics at Queens' College Cambridge, after getting the highest First in his year in Geography at Bristol University.
He also won the Royal Geographical Society’s National Dissertation Prize in 2014. Though Cambridge lost the match 9 - 6, James says it was the experience of a lifetime to be playing in front of hundreds of spectators lining the fairways at the course on which Tiger Woods won the Open in 2006 and Rory McIlroy won in 2014.
